Reviewer Training Workshop for Early-Career Researchers
Dear Colleague,
Acta Radiologica is pleased to invite early-career researchers to participate in a Reviewer Training Workshop, designed to provide practical training in the peer-review process and to prepare participants for future involvement as reviewers for the journal.
The workshop will combine a short introduction to the principles and responsibilities of peer review with hands-on work on a mock manuscript, followed by discussion of current challenges related to artificial intelligence in research and peer review.
No previous experience as a reviewer is required.
The workshop is free of charge.
Date and Time
Thursday 26 November 2026
13:00–17:00 CET
Format
The workshop will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
Target Group
The workshop is intended for early-career researchers in radiology and related imaging disciplines who have some research experience, for example through co-authorship of 2–3 published scientific papers.
Participants should have an interest in developing their skills in the critical appraisal of scientific manuscripts and in contributing to the peer-review process.
Number of Places
The workshop is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. This will allow participants to work in small groups and receive feedback during the practical sessions.
