Welcome to DLF, the Swedish Medical Association for General Practitioners, a part of the trade union and professional organisation Swedish Medical Association SLF. DLF is open to all general practitioners and doctors working in family medicine/primary care. Our policies are focusing on providing good working conditions including a safe work environment and fair budgeting for primary care. We advocate for family medicine to politicians and officials. We strive for continuity of care and a reasonable workload. In Sweden we do not have mandatory CME requirements. Instead, DLF advocates for continuous medical education paid by employers and not by pharmaceutical companies.
